Tortilla chip is one of my favorite snack. Cut corn tortillas into wedges and then fried it, eat with tomato salsa.
Ingredients:
- 10 Tortillas
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt
- 1 medium sized fresh tomato, stem removed and finely diced
- 1/2 onion, finely diced
- 2 jalapeno chili pepper. finely diced
- 3 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- salt and pepper
Method:
- Cut each tortilla into a small triangles.
- Heat up 3 inches vegetable oil in a deep saute pan. Fry tortilla in a small batches until crispy and golden brown. Remove tortilla from pan and drain it with paper towel. Sprinkle with salt.
- Combine all the salsa ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Served tortilla with tomato salsa.
